Default Ele Conjure Spells

The conjure spells (Conjure Flame, Frost, and Lightning) all start off with "lose all enchantments." Originally, that clause was there so that one couldn't stack two or more of these enchantments onto one's self to deal massive amounts of damage. However, now that these enchantments require that you use an elemental weapon of its respective type, they really can't be stacked anyway.

Since there wouldn't be any opportunity to abuse them anymore, wouldn't it make sense to let players keep their other enchantments? Or is there some kind of interaction I'm missing here?

I agree, it's quite a pain the way it currently works since it even removes maintained enchantments cast by your support. The only reason I can think of why it wouldn't be desireable for an elementalist to be able to cast all three conjures on his character would be to prevent 'abuse' with enchantment-reliant aspects such as Dwayna's Kiss and Symbiosis - they'd offer steady 60s enchantments that don't really require attribute investments to pay off. But that would mean sacrificing those spots on your skill bar exclusively for those skills, so I think that'd already be balanced out.
